Currently SoftScan does not read AutoCAD 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 drawings directly (This feature will be available in our next update).
SoftScan will convert these drawings automatically to an older format
so that they may be scanned IF AutoCAD 2004, or higher
is installed in the same computer as SoftScan, or
You can use our DwgConverter program to convert your drawings easily into an older format.
The DwgConverter can also be used to automatically purge and / or explode all selected drawings.
The DwgConverter can be run from a different computer than SoftScan is on.
First run your drawings with the DwgConverter.
The DwgConverter will copy and rename a new set of drawings converted to AutoCAD 2000 Version with the prefix 15_drawing.dwg
Now you will be able to scan correctly your drawings.
